Aldwych House. Gilded Glass Ceiling

Aldwych House renovation of high end serviced offices : Team of gilders. Central London.

The architects proposed the gilding of the central atrium (made of embossed tin) ceiling specification was to produce three samples of gold to compliment the colour scheme of the main entrance to the building. We were supplied with mood boards to establish metal leaf and tone of finish.  It was decided that the ceiling was to be gilded in moon gold leaf. The gold was finished to a high shine to further reflect the light.
